That’s fine. I didn’t write it. It’s a quote from Warhammer 40k.
Yeah that tracks. Treating the world like it’s your friend doesn’t pan out most of the time.
RN here: call your doctor. Don’t look for advice online, mine or anyone else’s, period.
I’m not being a dick, that’s the only answer anyone who knows what they’re doing and gives a damn is going to give you.
Yes. There is good, there is evil and if it requires many words to try and sway your opinion, that is manipulative - evil.
An open mind is like a fortress with its gates unbarred and unguarded.
What’s a tankie? Is that someone who plays World of Tanks? Because I play that game sometimes. Or is it fans of the comic Tank Girl? Or…just tanks in general? Think tanks, aquarium tanks etc?
I’ll bet they aren’t speechless. I bet they have lots of things to say. In fact I bet they’re the opposite of speechless…speechful.
I’ve never considered even using the forums and am only vaguely aware of them. It’s a store, not a social platform. I buy my games, I run the games. Anything else is…kind of weird honestly.
I don’t go on dates or come up with strategies. I say “Hi” and then they say things back and I respond to that. I place food into my face hole if it’s expected of me. I continue this process until “dates” are no longer needed - one way or the other.
Si let’s you shoot yourself in the foot. Si++ let’s you reuse the bullet.
Musical anhedonia I think? I’m usually indifferent, I dislike some music. Ear worms are very rare. I generally prefer spoken word when I want to listen to things: stand-up comedy, podcasts, audio books etc.
It’s usually…fine if I hear music, I just don’t go out of my way to find it or anything.
I don’t listen to music. There’s literally no music that I enjoy enough to choose to listen to it. I’m pretty sure there’s something broken in my brain.
I’ve never experienced that. I can’t imagine it would worry me either way though. The internet isn’t real life. It literally doesn’t matter. I’d have as much concern as if I saw unread notifications in a video game.
Your first mistake was being socially/emotionally attached to anyone or anything at your job. The argument was the first corrective step. Now do it again with everyone else. Do not apologize, do not justify. If anyone at your job thinks you are filled with anything other than unadulterated hatred and spite, you’re doing it wrong.
As with most things, the answer is: it depends. More contextual information please.
He revealed his power level. That’s never a winning move.
I don’t refute the findings but I would like to mention: without AI, I wasn’t going to be writing anything at all. I’d have let it go and dealt with the consequences. This way at least I’m doing something rather than nothing.
I’m not advocating for academic dishonesty of course, I’m only saying it doesn’t look like they bothered to look at the issue from the angle of:
“What if the subject was planning on doing nothing at all and the AI enabled the them to expend the bare minimum of effort they otherwise would have avoided?”
Where is Black and White 3, Peter? Tell me and the curses will stop.
