I think he was involved in like a car accident that left him with the equivalent of not being right because of being kicked in the head by a horse.
From what I understand, he does not really understand what is going on. Head injuries are tough. They can affect different people differently and have huge changes in personality or ability to understand things.
I do not know the details of this and I’m not taking a side on it, just that he is known to have severe brain damage and should be treated like any other challenged person.
Not excusing his behaviour in any way but he suffered a traumatic brain injury that gave him impulse control problems. That’s been well known for decades. He should’ve had a full time handler or something.
