It’s shit like this that the lawyers were waiting for. The ape was subtle enough with the threats last time that the government couldn’t be implicated in Kimmel’s termination. This is definitive. This is blatant government censorship and a violation of the first amendment.

Yep. 86 is used across the restaurant. You can 86 meatballs, 86 vodka, or 86 a douchebag at the bar. In most cases it just means we are out of something due to demand or the prep crew slacking off. In the case of customers, it means they are removed from the premises. I can envision a world where there could be a temporary 86, and we’d allow the customer to come back, but it’s never happened. If we have to kick you out, we REALLY don’t like you. If the kitchen has to stop cooking in the middle of service to threaten you, then be thankful if you walk out with all your bits attached.
We had to 86 a guy this weekend. He was a regular, kinda off but never a problem. Well, this weekend he just started going nuts with this shit. Racism, transphobia, conspiracy theories. He was harassing the bartender and the two patrons sitting next to him. Took three of us walking out from the kitchen to get him to move. He was ready to go to war.

There is nothing unethical about having money. Ethics are what you do with the money once you have it. Ethics are how you got the money in the first place. It’s not unethical to have a car. If I stole the car, that is unethical. If I use it for a hit and run, that is unethical. Notch has money. He also used his fame and reach that came with that money to spout hate speech.
I mean, if you aren’t keeping up with their social stances and politics, you probably shouldn’t be putting them on the “good millionaires” list.
Eh, Notch hasn’t really shown to be that positive a force in the world.
