My brother did that and I’m not saying it’s mommy issues in your case but in my brothers case he liked having a sugar mommy that was good in bed. They split after 15 years when he found a younger richer woman to mooch off of.

As far as my experience goes in Germany, the fear is consistent with what was before covid. There are a few individuals with increased awareness that are stillmaskimng, especially in public transit but these are few. Which in turn is consistent with my observation that most good hygiene practice has stuck somewhat more. People wash their hands more often and there is much less talking down to germophobes. Even children are taught much better hygiene (to no avail in the daycare facilities for children)
