Venezuela was sanctioned because of human rights abuses, corruption, and actions undermining democracy under the Maduro government.
Maduro’s actions lead to a sham election in 2024 where he declared himself winner when the winning candidate was able to demonstrate unequivocally majority of winning votes in almost all polling places.
I’m also against bailing out Argentina but don’t come fuckin using my country to say socialism is bad, because yes it is trash, but the sanctions are not the reason and Venezuela’s system is not owned by workers but by the state - oil - and a few companies, is state capitalism.
