The terminal code to switch it back without shutting anything down required touching too many things i dont like to touch unless I’m sober, and was really complicated, and I mistyped the one to restart, so I saved my game, and pressed the reset button on the case to make it better.
No that’s the point. If I had been on windows my game would have just been interrupted and my computer unusable for an unknowable amount of time whenever it decided to update.
On Linux I had to be incredibly stupid lazy and high to get a result that was almost as bad–i still got to save my game.
I’m celebrating too as a user. No more shit updates that disturb me.
