The Senate has confirmed 48 of President Donald Trump’s nominees. Republicans acted for the first time under new rules to clear a backlog of executive branch positions that had been delayed by Democrats.
I love all the hand wringing that goes on with this kind of thing. Like the filibuster too, all that fretting but as soon as it no longer serves the GOP goons they will remove it themselves.

The swing back is usually worse though. By doing something unprecedented, you give the opposition permission to go farther than you did.
Except the Democrats never do that
Will there be a chance for a swing back at this point though? Not trying to sound pessimistic, but the reality seems grim.
